Ferrite and Austenite Content Analysis

Problem solved:
Determination of ferrite and austenite relative content in duplex steel.

Solution
Images of ferrite-austenite microstructure of a duplex stainless steel are analyzed in order to determine relative content of ferrite and austenite. Applied is a suit of complex operations, including segmentation, selection of the phases according to color, parameters measurements and more. The solution includes features for manual correction of phase selection results.

The combined report is built based on the analysis results. Data can be exported to the database.
